Can you use a laptop near a (plug) transformer contained by Europe?

Answer:

YES

All you involve is a small adapter that fits the AC end.

European countries own larger ends on the plug. Radio Shack used to sell them.

Anyway your power supply can already use EU electricity, you basically cant plug it in in need the end mortal correct.

The laptop transformers are autoswitching/sensing they can run from 100-240v . As long as it is a modern laptop from PII to P4.

The cost should be $20 or less for the plug set (which includes Japan/EU and some other countries) Check Ebay.

Remember you don't involve a whole powersupply, simply the ends.
Many places in Europe uses 220V at 50Hz, so you will inevitability a power supply that will support that. However, you should get an adaptor tackle, as not all countries use indistinguishable kind of outlet.
