it crashed twice. 1st time, it go to a black screen that say restart normally but it in recent times keep restarting and going wager on to the same place.and it go to a blue screen that have codes on it. CAN'T GET TO THE MAIN DESKTOP. he fixed it by putting a disc in and fixed it. it be normal. it crashed again months next but this time he tried to fix it the same process, but it didn't work. its a compaq.

Why don't you a short time ago format it ? :D thats the easier way you can manufacture it work again :D seems approaching there are some missed files contained by the Operating System you are using ! :) is it Windows ? :O

Manytimes this happened when in attendance is a problem with the Ram. specially the blue eyeshade comes where the bump is bad... try first the Ram cover and reinstall the ram after cleaning it.
If this is a topical laptop and still under warranty, turn back to the peddler.
Claim warranty.., file a complaint.
Normally, HP/Compaq enjoy a very polite after sales service.
Don't bother trying to fix it yourself if it is still below warranty.
