It mostly depends on what type of laptop you are using. If you are using a weak laptop with window Software, its bound to be slow. If its one of the newer ones, its less plausible to not freeze up.

First of adjectives check for Virus's and trojans using an antivirus scanner.



Check your hard drives are ok. using Scandisk, lower than the tools section contained by Windows Explorer.



Then check your applications maybe its a lasting application that's freezing your PC
