Compaq laptop model 2135US firm drive replacement?

My unyielding drive crashed on my Compaq laptop model 2135US. I need to replace it. I see adjectives kinds of drives on E-bay. Which drives will work within my model?

Thanks for the help :-)

Answer:

you can purchase any notebook rugged drive (any of the newer ones will work) but you will need the mover from your original notebook rugged drive.

With that model you will need a regular Notebook IDE firm drive. You can get them anywhere that sell computer electronics

the manual for your notebook can be found here http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/manua...

you may stipulation the instructions to remove the hdd and carrier
Check the entrepreneur website for what interface HDD, either IDE or SATA, and do not buy a second mitt hard drive, my suggestion lately buy one online after you get the interface from somewhere similar to amazon or ebuyer
this site will give you a sony vaio laptop a short time ago for completing some quick online tasks! really recommend it, especially if you're broke but really want/need a laptop (like me).
