I hold a HP DV9220US laptop (Bought 3 months ago) and on the side, there is a port thats similar to the port where on earth you can plug in monitors. However, its missing the two screw holes which most plugs I've see have. Will it still be capable of be connected to a projector? Thanks a lot.
Answer:
Yes, the plug you are conversation about allows you to plug a regular SVGA monitor or projector into it. That process, if you have a spare monitor explicitly larger than your laptop screen, you can utilize the laptop system, but display it on monitor or projector. Hope this helps.
Yes, you shouldn't hold any problems. You'll have to engineer sure your resolution is appropriate for the projector though.
Yes, I dont know why they took away the screws, mabey somepeople be forgetting it was pulged contained by and yanking the projector of the desk.
a short time ago make sure to pulg the cord into the projectors contained by port, not the out port if it has two
yes, impressively much compatible to any projector ,just plug it within tight

Does my dell inspiron 6000 bought surrounded by fused states work surrounded by spain or uk?
its a standard dell inspiron bought directly to dell
Answer:
yes you will requirement an adapter to plug the US wall plug into UK and ES wall sockets. These are sold at most Radio Shack stores. ~$20 for a set. Also all Dell since Pentium II have universal voltage, from 100~240 50 oor 60 hz
unless you stipulation a specific other language OS (Spanish, etc.) it should work near the proper power adapter since the Power cord might come with the US standard plug. If you enjoy the English OS you can always transformation your regional settings to reflect your location. (use Control Panel->Regional Settings).
It will work as long as the power supply works at 220-240Vac.
In the states the voltage is 120Vac. In europe it is roughly 240Vac.
Check what is written on the side of the power supply. TThe operating voltage range should be on here somewhere.
You will also need a travel power adaptor.
Check your ac adaptor say 100/240V input. If it does you just want two new power cords. One for the UK and one for Spain (which also does for most of the rest of Europe).
DVD's purchased contained by the UK or Spain will be Region 2 and won't play unless you change the Region Code on your DVD drive. But reproving, you can only do this 5 times past you are stuck with the final region code selected.
For characters resembling lb (pound) and EUR (euro) using charmap is easiest rather than attempting to regionalise your the ivories.
Will the keyboard change to suit the USA, ie lb/$ sign's key positions etc, i expect the transformer would manipulate a variety of voltages.

Does Laptop Memory hold to own same size memory for respectively slot?
I be told that when upgrading memory, you have to buy impossible to tell apart size for each slot. In other words you can't enjoy a 512mb in one slot and a 1024 surrounded by the other slot if there are merely 2 slots available. Is this true?
Answer:
Every computer manufacturer seem to have it's own special requirements for memory sticks. Some require both sticks to be compatible. Some allow sticks to be mixed and in any proclaim. Others say the largest stick must shift in slot one, subsequent largest in slot two, etc.
I'd suggest you step to a website like crucial.com or kahlon.com and use their advisor tool or configurator. Plug surrounded by your computer specs and they'll tell you everything you requirement to know. Once you have that info you can shop around for the best prices.

Unless here is some kind of impede to your particular memory slots (check your manual) I own never heard that. Most computers own a maximum total memory for both slots together.

Does it require a .Mac vindication to publish websites on iWeb?
I don't own a Mac, but I be wondering since I might be considering to get a Macbook. Also, are the underpinning Macbook's any good? They hold 1GB of RAM, 2.0Ghz Core 2 Duo processor and 80GB Hard Drive. No Windows rocks, Apple sucks answers!
Answer:
no u dont need a .mac side u just cant publish to a diffrent service from iweb u would stipulation to upload the html files.
Macs are great for designers, videos etc. I am a mac enthusiast at heart but for surfing, I'm a PC girl...more software, more economical and faster for the buck.
It's your choice but you really can't go wrong next to either. OH ps -- more virus attack the pc than mac.
They've covered the .Mac piece, but I can say that the Macbook (not pro, which is awesome) looks really well brought-up for the websurfer and homevideo editor. The specs are great, and the 13.3 screen, though semingly small, get great reviews for being crisp and uncomplicated to read.

Does have an LED backlit display significantly cut back frown?
I'm looking at purchasing a hot laptop. I've looked at several different options, but it seem that most of the laptops currently on the market enjoy AWFUL glare (even contained by low light conditions!). My elder laptop doesn't have this problem, since it have an anti-glare coating, but that offering seems to be exceptional now.
Some of the unmarked laptops you find online, however, offer an LED backlit display instead of CCFL. Does that aid with look angrily? If so, how much? I'm willing to discharge a bit extra if it is a significant improvement.
Thanks
Answer:
I craving I had a better answer for you, but I've never used an LED backlit display.
However, near is a company called http://www.screentekinc.com that will remove the anti-glare coating and replace it near the traditional matte coating for about $100. So, you could buy any laptop you'd close to with the high-gloss coating and enjoy it replaced...just an prospect.
get an sony vaio

Does Hard Drive and Memory affect the speed of a laptop? If so, how so?
Just wondering if I should attain the extra hard drive and memory... I want a vigorous laptop.
Answer:
Don't go buying DDR2800 because the guy above told you so, trade name sure you buy whats compatible with your notebook first. A polite place to start is http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/...
As of the hard drive, unless its close full it shouldn't slow down the notebook. If its near full you can uninstall unwanted programs and other stuff.
To find out how much free complicated drive space you have available, dance to my computer and right click drive C and click properties. There you will see a pie, the pink portion represents the available free disk space.
for speed, what to look for in a not easy drive is rpm. Usually a laptop hdd will be 5400 or 7200 rpm. Obviously, 7200rpm is faster. For memory, what you want to look for is ddr2-800. The 800 represents the effective speed in mhz of the memory. The highly developed the number, the faster it is and the faster the system can access it. However, with dignified speed memory (especially ddr2) cas latency can become an issue. This is a measure surrounded by ms of how long until the system can re-access the same dimm slot. So, if you can, look for the unbeatable speed on memory while at the same time try and find a cas latency number of no greater than 4 for ddr2. This will ensure speed.
